 “Governazione” mediante agenzie. Riflessioni in chiaroscuro su uno studio del Conseil d’État francese

The article originates from an analysis of the 2012 annual report of the french Conseil d’État, devoted to the emerging administrative model of the agencies. The first part, drawing a brief survey of the so called “agencification” process, encompasses some significant experiences from all over the world, then turns to recent developments taking place in Italy and in the peculiar experience of european agencies. The second part develops some remarks which benefit from the suggestions coming from the french report and the comparative view and are aimed at going beyond a few traditional oppositions in the representation of this item, at the same time pointing out the main arising questions related to it.
