 Il ruolo della scuola nel processo educativo

Abstract [It]: In ragione del rinnovato dibattito e delle numerose proposte riformatrici che riguardano la scuola, il saggio – muovendosi nel solco delle letture che hanno collocato la scuola tra i soggetti della Repubblica gravati del compito emancipante sancito dall’art. 3, comma 2, della Cost. – prova a ricostruire il ruolo costituzionale dell’istituzione scolastica. Un ruolo complesso, nel quale la libertà di insegnamento, l’istruzione, l’educazione e la cultura rappresentano i momenti indispensabili di un complessivo “processo educativo”, il cui unico obiettivo non può che essere il pieno sviluppo della persona.

 

Title: The Role of the School Institution in the “Educational Process”

Abstract [En]: In view of the renewed debate and the numerous reform proposals concerning the education system, this essay - drawing on interpretations that place the school among the institutions of the Republic entrusted with the emancipatory mission set out in Article 3, paragraph 2, of the Italian Constitution - seeks to reconstruct the constitutional role of the school institution. This is a complex role, in which freedom of teaching, instruction, education, and culture constitute essential dimensions of a broader “educational process,” whose ultimate aim can only be the full development of the human person.
